Before Eswatini, Brett served as a Shepherd/Elder at North Christian Church where he taught Sunday school classes for both children and adults. He earned a B.S. in Psychology, an M.B.A. and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, as well as a Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. He taught classes online for secular universities and on-ground for Summit Christian College. Brett served on the Board for Summit Christian College and Insight Resources International (a mission organization), and regularly consults on communication with A World Aware, preparing teams for short-term missionary work. Brett served as a Vice President of Development for a quick service restaurant company and now teaches in the doctoral program for a Christian University on-line in addition to teaching at Zion Bible College in Eswatini.
In the States, Evelyn worked with the children at North Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, developed a whole Bible curriculum, and helped coordinate an all-city VBS program. She earned a B.A. in Children’s Ministry from Hope International University. She worked at schools as a playground aide, substitute teacher, and computer lab paraprofessional. Evelyn most recently worked as an Elementary School librarian, assisting teachers and students locate appropriate and engaging materials. She currently assists by handling the administrative details of the college and also supports local church projects initiated by the amaZoni.
